At BASS Primary Care Walk-in Clinic, it's Your Health, Your Schedule.

Frequently Ask Questions

Do I need to set an appointment?

We do take appointments over the phone or online. However, no appointment is necessary, feel free to walk in without one. We are usually open 5-days a week and walk-ins are always welcome. We know how busy life can be, that is why most patients are in and out in less than an hour.

Are BASS Primary Care centers open on holidays?

Our Walnut Creek Primary Care clinic is open Monday through Friday. Our hours of operation ranges from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays.

What conditions require emergency room care?

The ER treats life-threatening medical conditions. Urgent care centers treat conditions that need immediate attention but are not life or limb threatening. Call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room if you have:

  1. Chest pain
  2. Severe abdominal pain
  3. Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  4. Sudden dizziness, weakness, or loss of coordination or balance
  5. Sudden blurred vision
  6. Numbness in the face, arm, or leg
  7. Sudden and severe headache
  8. Deep cuts or bleeding that won’t stop
  9. Coughing up or vomiting blood
  10. Severe burns
  11. Seizures

Who will be treating me?

Our staff includes licensed physicians, most of whom are ER trained, as well as experienced physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants. We also staff X-ray technologists and lab technologists who are experienced and trained in emergency medicine, primary care, pediatrics, internal medicine, and sports and occupational medicines.

Where are you located?

BASS Primary Care is located in Walnut Creek but we also serve patients in nearby cities: Pleasant Hill, Concord, Clayton, Danville, Alamo, and Lafayette. We also have providers in San Ramon, San Jose, Modesto, and Hollister.

What forms of insurance and payment do you accept?

BASS Primary Care accepts insurance payments from most health plans. You can also pay with cash or personal checks, and by Visa and MasterCard.

What information do I need to bring?

Please bring photo ID and all insurance cards. Prior X-rays or lab work will also assist us in your treatment. In addition, bring a list of medications and nutrition supplements you are currently taking and the dosages for each.
