Anjali Kandpal, MD

Dr. Kandpal is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with 15 years of experience, practicing in San Jose with BASS medical group.

Dr. Kandpal received her medical degree from BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur, India in 2003 and then relocated to the United States. She completed internship and residency in Family Medicine at USC at California Medical Center in Los Angeles.

She has spent 10 years of her medical career as a hospital based physician, managing complex medical conditions throughout a patient’s stay. She has since served as a primary care physician in the San Jose area, with a special emphasis on women’s health and disease management for chronic medical conditions like Diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease COPD etc.  

Her practice is equipped with onsite procedures like preventive labs, Pap smears, joint injections, wound care, podiatry services as well as providing medical care-at-home for patients in assisted living facilities around the area.

Dr. Kandpal looks forward to serving all patients 18 years of age or older.

She lives locally with her husband and three children, and loves to spend time reading, hiking, and traveling.
